More than 120 players took part in the poker competition GUPTK celebrated in Thanet . Among the more well known players were J.P Kelly, Roberto Romanello, Julian Thew y Jerome Bradpiece. From the enormous amount of people who started the tournament, only 11 managed to pass form the second day.
Regarding the performance of the poker players who arrived to the final table, Adam Wisdom was one of the first in being disqualified, finishing in the eighth position. Shortly after that, Robert Topp and James Morris followed him. Andreas Achillea had to be contented with a fourth position and Lawrie Inman with the third one.
The final Heads Up was between Jeff Kimber and Darren Annis. And even though the last one was a bit less experienced than Kimber, he managed to obtain the first position, and therefore he has ensured a sit in the GUKPT Champion of Champions which will take place at the end of this same year.
